Snowmageddon Day 1

Well here it is. The biggest snow fall in DC since 1979...

The only time it's okay to play in the street...

when it's buried under 30 inches of snow.

Crawling (or "climbing") across the front yard.

Destination: that big tree.

My snow cave.

Mom wanted to build an igloo.

I thought it was more fun to knock the walls down

with my head.

Cherry snow.

And plenty more where that came from!

Tulips and Thumbs

Sorry for our absence...

Mostly we've just been hanging around town while

our kitchen gets finished and wiping our runny noses.

"Mama, I brought you these TU-lips!"

Almost...got...it.

I have been looking for that thumb for about 3.5 months.

Turns out it was in front of me the whole time.

Yep, I'm a whopping 3 months old now

and full of new tricks.

Word up. Like my moves?

Most importantly, I've got this handsome fella

wrapped around my little finger.
